Reviews and Ratings
I couldn't have asked for a better location! The hotel is situated right in the center of Southampton, close to the ferry terminal and shopping centers. The rooms were always kept clean, although the carpets might need some attention. The first-class breakfast was a definite highlight, but the lack of internal ventilation was a downside.
The hotel is ideally located in the Old Town steeped in history, offering a convenient stay close to shops and restaurants. The rooms, although featuring a high window with no view, are well-equipped and comfortable. The service, especially at breakfast time, was top-notch. The dining experience, while not included, was satisfactory, and the facilities met my expectations.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were cozy with a lovely 4 poster bed and large sash windows, but the lack of internal ventilation was a bit noticeable. The service was top-notch, with staff who were very helpful with our requests, although a bit noisy at times. The location is fantastic, situated in the Old Town steeped in history, and the proximity to the lively town center was a definite plus. The dining experience was good, especially with included desserts. Overall, a great value for money hotel with some minor room ventilation issue.
